I already know I'm going to hurt some feelings today. And for that I'm sorry. But I wanted to set the record straight about #rentalarbitrage 🤝 I think there is a lot of information out there that talks about the benefits of rental arbitrage and how you can make $100,000 a month doing so. Is that possible? Well, of course! But that doesn't mean it's going to be easy.

So let's start from the beginning? What is rental arbitrage? It's an #Airbnb business model where you rent someone else's apartment/home and then sublease said apartment/home on short-term rental booking platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, etc.

This is actually how I kicked off my Airbnb career. So believe me when I say, I'm not trying to discourage you from starting your airbnb business this way. But what I want if for you to move from leasing to buying as quickly as possible. In other words, build up cashflow, save it and use it to invest in property that you own outright. Because for me one of the biggest downsides of rental arbitrage is the lack of equity building that you'd otherwise get from paying a mortgage.
