We’re on a 50-state road trip with our kids, looking for the coolest, kid-approved short-term rental in each state. In Ohio, we stayed at Dogwood Ridge Farms - a stunning 180-acre property in the Hocking Hills region with private trails, and even highland cows and donkeys on site.

We stayed in the barn, which completely blew us away with its craftsmanship and design. Between exploring the property, trying out every outdoor game, and soaking in the hot tub overlooking the valley, this stop felt like the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and family fun.
