Real estate is a great investment vehicle for wealth building, but is it the best for generating cash flow?
I recently had the opportunity to chat with Lawrence Raponi, a senior associate of Equiton Capital Inc. and a veteran real estate investor who invests in the private Real Estate Investment Trust REIT his employer manages.
During our conversation, he mentioned how investing in a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) can provide some cash flow and appreciation. With proper structure done at the REIT level, a portion of the cash flow can even be TAX-FREE!
So I invited Lawrence on the channel to share the tax benefits of investing in a REIT. We also chat about his real estate journey, his first investment property, his journey in the stock market, and so much more!
