Acquisitions in the REIT Lodging Sector

www.reit.com Patrick Sholes, a lodging analyst with FBR Capital Markets sat down with REIT.com's Matt Bechard during REITWeek 2010 in Chicago to discuss how the lodging sector has faired since the downtown. Sholes, who maintains that lodging began turning around in May 2009, believes that the entire sector has moved into positive territory. Sholes discusses both the wave of consolidation that he expects as the next part of the recovery cycle and contemplates with a weak summer travel season could mean for hotels and lodging's overall health.
