FLOUR+MILK+WATER! I've been doing this for over 25 years! No oven. Simple and delicious
Ingredients:
milk 100ml
water 100ml
white sugar 4g/1tsp
instant yeast 3g/1tsp
all-purpose or bread flour 300g/2cups
olive oil 15ml
salt 3g/½tsp
green onion 50g
baking soda ¼tsp
unsalted butter 30ml
salt & black pepper to taste
sesame seeds
Recipe:
100ml milk
100ml water
4g white sugar
3g instant yeast
Mix well
300g all-purpose or bread flour
3g salt
Mix well
15ml olive oil
Knead the dough
Cover and rise until double-size
Deflate the air bubbles
Cover and rest for 10 minutes
50g green onion
Chop the green onions
Place in a bowl
1/4tsp baking soda (optional)
After resting the dough
Flatten the dough
Shape the dough into a rectangle
about 35x25cm
Brush 30ml melted unsalted butter
Salt
Black pepper
Sprinkle the green onions
Cut the dough like this
Fold the pieces of dough
Pinch shut the edges
Sprinkle some flour
Flatten the dough with a rolling pin
The diameter is about 20cm
The thickness is about 1.5cm
A bit of oil
Transfer the dough to the pan
Spray some water
Sprinkle some sesame seeds
Cover and rise for 20 minutes
20 minutes later
Cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat
Oil
Flip it over
Cook for another 5-8 minutes on low heat
Done!
Super crispy and tasty!
So many layers inside!
