Hi Everyone, today I have the task of creating an investment portfolio for my grandma. She is 84 years old and doesn’t understand anything about investing. No idea what shares are, how money works, or much at all. The thing I cannot do is freak her out. So very very low volatility.

It’s about preservation not growth. She just is so scared of losing money, that she isn’t willing to do anything that I suggest like indexing. She has a distrust of almost everything. So I can’t just have her sit in cash either, because she doesn’t trust banks or governments.

So how would you do it? This is my task today.
